About

I’m a lifelong Kansan, raised on a family dairy farm and deeply rooted in agriculture. I know firsthand the rhythm of rural life—row crops, cow-calf operations, and the long days that blur together between family, work, and community.

I also know the weight this life can carry. I’ve walked through my own mental health struggles, including seasons of depression and suicidal thoughts, and I’ve seen up close the toll farm stress can take. I’ve watched it affect physical health, strain relationships, and press heavily on the people I love most. Those experiences opened my eyes to just how much rural women and families silently carry—and how few spaces exist to talk about it honestly.

That’s why I created Wild Haven.

My Mission

Wild Haven exists to meet rural women right where they are - on the back roads, in the barns, and between baseball games and harvest. My purpose is to help women reconnect with who they are, process what they’ve been through, and step forward in strength - with God at the center.

This isn’t just a program. It’s a movement to remind rural women that they are seen, supported, and never alone.
